Careline is quality certified
Are you considering a technology enabled care service to help you or a loved one live more independently at home?
Careline can be, or get, the emergency help you need should something happen to you.
Thousands of people get peace of mind from having a direct line into our Careline community alarm service in case they need support fast, day or night.
If you’re thinking about it for yourself or a family member, you can be confident that we’ve recently passed an independent audit of our technology enabled care (TEC) services by TEC Quality. This endorses how we provide quality Careline services for customers.
TEC Quality is a national organisation that audits TEC service providers on behalf of the TEC Services Association (TSA). The TSA is the industry and advisory body for TEC in the UK.
Audits assess service quality, safety, innovation and continuous improvement. They also highlight ways in which we can make our services better.
We’re happy to say that we were rated as fully compliant with the standards required for certification.
The auditors also highlighted how well we’ve:
- followed Covid-19 pandemic requirements in line with government guidance;
- reacted to concerns around safeguarding, domestic abuse and mental health in some households;
- supported the ambulance services through peak pressure periods;
- helped people with regards to fire safety risks and potentially saved lives on numerous occasions.
