Support our campaign to #MakeSummerCount
With the school summer holidays now underway, we’re launching a campaign to help Bolton’s tenants and residents make the most of summer without breaking the bank – and we’re asking for your help to do it!
The summer holidays can be an expensive time for people and families, particularly this year when the coronavirus pandemic has put even more pressure on family finances.
#MakeSummerCount is our campaign to help people enjoy summer without it leading to money worries.
Over the coming days and weeks, we’ll be asking you to get involved in our social media conversations offering fellow tenants and residents your top tips for saving money over summer.
Whether it’s recommendations for fun and low-cost family days out, general money saving tips, ideas for keeping the kids entertained, or brilliant hacks for making your money go further, we want you to tell us about it.
We’ll also be telling you about the ways you can access financial advice and support through Bolton at Home, such as through our Money Advice Team.
And we’ll shine a spotlight on some of our partners, such as Bolton’s credit union Hoot, which can help people to take control of their finances by becoming better savers and accessing lower cost loans.
Keep an eye on our social media channels and please feel free to get involved.
