Flexible working

We provide an opportunity for employees to work additional hours between the hours of 7am - 7pm which can then be taken as flexi leave. Employees may take up to two days of flexi leave for every four week period. This is open to all employees where the service allows the provision to work flexibly. However, the needs of the organisation, the provision of services and customer requirements remain the priority.

Cycle to work scheme

We are now a member of Cyclescheme,  which gives staff the opportunity to access brand new bikes through a salary sacrifice scheme with considerable tax relief benefits.

Holiday entitlement

Annual full time holiday entitlement of 27 days rising to 32 days after 5 years plus bank holidays.

Eye tests

We offer staff free regular eye tests.

Hoot Credit Union

Hoot Credit Union is a financial co-operative which is owned and controlled by its members and is a friendly, local alternative to banks or building societies. They offer accessible saving and affordable loans to members.

Pension Scheme

We offer a pension scheme in accordance with legislation new employees will be auto enrolled into this scheme. Employee contributions will be paid directly from the employee’s salary each month.

In house training programme

Our Learning and Development team offers a diverse range of learning events that reinforce both individual and organisational capabilities.

Sponsored study

Sponsored study is to help our employees who wish to pursue recognised work related qualifications or higher and further education courses relevant to their work or personal development.  

Give and gain staff volunteering

We offer each employee the opportunity to volunteer in order to help them enhance their skills and abilities and develop their performance at an individual and team level.

By taking part, employees can also learn more about our communities and our role in those communities;  build relationships with other teams in the organisation and with other local charities.
