Community litter pick events: fancy getting involved? (March and April 2025)

Fancy helping out at any of these upcoming litter picking events organised by our Neighbourhood Services Team in Farnworth and Deane? 

They’re an opportunity for you to come together with like-minded residents and create brighter and healthier spaces for everyone to enjoy. Everyone’s welcome.

Here are the details for each event:

Friday 21 March 2025, 10am to 11am: Princess Grove Estate litter pick

  • Meet on the grass verge at the side of 23 Princess Grove.
  • Equipment provided.

Tuesday 25 March 2025, 4pm to 5pm: Farnworth Town Centre litter pick

  • Meet outside Hesketh House.
  • Equipment provided.

Wednesday 26 March 2025, 10am to 11am: litter pick at Thornbank (Deane)

  • Meet on car park block 103 to 108, Thornbank East.
  • Equipment provided.

Wednesday 2 April 2025, 4pm to 5pm: Oak and Ash Estate litter pick

  • Meet on the corner of Spring Street (near the community litter bin).
  • Equipment provided.
