Discover the benefits of extra care living during Bolton Extra Care Awareness Week 2024

Are you or a loved one considering a more supportive living environment? Bolton Extra Care Awareness Week is the perfect opportunity to explore how extra care housing can enhance your life. We invite you to join us for a series of open day events filled with friendly faces, insightful conversations, and plenty of coffee and cake.

What is extra care sheltered accommodation?

It can give older adults the best of both worlds - the independence of having your own home combined with access to on-site care (subject to a needs assessment) and support services.

Each resident enjoys their own apartment, complete with a lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and shower. With communal facilities and a community atmosphere, extra care housing ensures you can live independently while benefitting from regular visits from a sheltered support worker tailored to your specific needs.

There is also the convenience of having a handyperson on-site to assist with small tasks like replacing lightbulbs or hanging pictures, while integrated intercom systems and Telecare equipment compatibility can help you feel safe and secure.

Extra care housing can also be more cost-effective than other housing options, providing good value for money.

Drop-in and join us at our open day events over the next few days

Meet current residents, tour the facilities, and see for yourself how extra care housing can support a safe, secure, and independent lifestyle.
