Free activities for you and yours this Christmas (2023)
We’ve got you covered if you’re looking for things for you and yours to get up to over Christmas. Here’s a full list of everything we’re involved with.
Please note that some of these activities will require advance booking. We've added notes to let you know which ones you'll need to book onto.

- Gingerbread House worshop (Tuesday 5 December & 14 December, 4pm to 6pm)
- Christmas sing-a-long (Tuesday 14 December, 12pm to 2pm)
- Great Holme Festive Fun (Friday 15 December, 4.30pm to 6.30pm)
- Slaterfield Christmas Party (Saturday 16 December, 1pm to 4pm)
- Christmas Bingo (Tuesday 19 December, 5pm)
Gingerbread house workshop (Tuesday 5 December and 14 December, 4pm to 6pm)
Come along to build and decorate a gingerbread house at New Bury UCAN Centre.
Tea will be provided for children and hot drinks for parents.
Availability is limited. Please contact Anna on 07966 568225 to book your place. All children to be accompanied by an adult.
Christmas sing-a-long (Tuesday 14 December, 12pm to 2pm)
Join in an afternoon of mince pies, mulled wine and some christmas cheer at The Ageing Hub, The Haven, BL3 1HS.

Great Holme Festive Fun (Friday 15 December, 4.30pm to 6.30pm)
- Santa's sleigh will be on then roads of Great Holme from 4pm, keep your eye out.
- Visit Santa's Grotto for photo and a present.
- Festive drinks, pasties, mince pies and cookies.
- Wreath making for adults.
Located at 17 Marlbrook Walk, Great Lever. All activities are free.
Slaterfield Christmas Party (Saturday 16 December, 1pm to 4pm)
Santa's Grotto, festive food and drinks, quiz, brass band and children's entertainer.

Doors open at 5pm. Eyes down at 5.30pm. New Bury UCAN Centre.
