How to access important safety information on our high-rise blocks (Building Safety Case Information)

Staff in our Building Safety Team are dedicated to ensuring your safety at home - and part of our commitment involves keeping you up to date with important safety information relating to your building.

If you live in one of our high-rise blocks (pictured)*, you can now access key safety and building information about your block on our website, such as:

  • A summary of the building's latest Fire Risk Assessment (FRA)
  • Building specifications (like the address, year built, construction material(s), number of floors, apartments, and staircases)
  • A summary of the regular/additional safety checks and inspections carried out at the building (including the type of check/inspection, the frequency, and who carries them out)
  • Details on Structural Assessments, and External Wall Assessments (such as who carries them out, and how often)
  • A link to our Resident Engagement Strategy for High-Risk Residential Buildings (which outlines our responsibilities under the Building Safety Act 2022, emphasising the importance of involving residents in our safety decisions, maintaining accurate safety information, and reporting incidents)
  • A link to further information on our Resident Building Safety Panel, where residents of our high-rise buildings will get shopping vouchers for helping us to ensure their buildings are as safe/accessible as possible)

This is known as ‘Building Safety Case Information’, and you can access it on our website here: www.boltonathome.org.uk/building-safety-case-information (just tap on your building).

We have a legal requirement to share this Building Safety Case Information with you (along with the Building Safety Regulator) and we include it on our website to make it easier for you and your neighbours to access it all in one place.

For important and handy safety advice on a range of topics (like fire, gas, electricity, water, window safety, and more), you can visit our main Home and Building Safety Hub at: www.boltonathome.org.uk/building-safety. We'll continue to grow our range of advice on the Hub over time, and much of the guidance we share is relevant regardless of whether you live in a house or a flat.
