If they're a tenant (or living with a tenant) of Bolton at Home, tell them about our Young Person’s Scrutiny Panel, where we (and our partners from RECLAIM, which you can learn more about here: www.reclaim.org.uk) will help them realise their immense potential as:
Members get a £25 voucher and an evening meal each time they attend a monthly session.
Lasting about four hours, they're an opportunity for members to get together in a relaxed, social environment with other young people to share ideas, experiences, and learning.
We launched our Young Person’s Scrutiny Panel with our friends at RECLAIM last year (2022) to give 16 to 25-year olds a space to share their experiences as tenants/users of Bolton at Home services (or living with Bolton at Home tenants- such as their parents/guardians), as well as an opportunity to develop their personal and professional skills.
Friendly staff from our partners at RECLAIM help to run the sessions, and they work on both a group and one-to-one basis with our young people to make sure they’re developing invaluable personal/professional skills as part of their roles.
Existing members of our Young Person’s Scrutiny Panel have said it’s:
Spaces have filled up quickly when we’ve advertised our Young Person’s Scrutiny Panel previously- so please pass this message on before it's too late.
People aged 16 to 25 who are tenants/users of Bolton at Home services themselves, or who live with Bolton at Home tenants can apply to join by emailing Kirsty, our Community Development Officer: kirsty.peake@boltonathome.org.uk.
We look forward to hearing from you or someone you know.
