Latest update on our UCAN centres (April 2025)
Here's a quick update on changes we’ve made to our urban care and neighbourhood (UCAN) services. As always, it's best to visit www.boltonathome.org.uk/ucan for the latest opening times.
UCAN services in the Breightmet area can be accessed from the Deepdale Community Centre, which has extended opening hours. These services have relocated from Withins UCAN Centre, which is now closed.
Our Bolton UCAN Centre, located in the Market Place Shopping Centre, also continues to provide extended support throughout the week, with help available in a more central location for housing issues, money matters, employment, wellbeing, and more.
Elsewhere, we've made some changes to our Pop-Up UCAN centres. This has included 'popping-down' some of our Pop-Up UCAN centres, and extending their opening hours in other places.
Plus, we’ll soon introduce a dedicated UCAN phone number to make it easier for customers to access UCAN services, regardless of where they are. We'll share an update when it's ready.
