New extra care scheme coming to Little Lever
Retirement living at its best
An exciting new retirement development with homes to rent is set to open this Autumn. We’ve designed and built Lever Gardens for the over 55s with care and support, including 24-hour emergency response and a range of facilities on site.

If you enjoy your independence but need some support to manage on your own, then our Lever Gardens scheme could be ideal for you.Here, you’ll not only find an exclusive development of 62 beautifully appointed apartments, but a place that’s been designed to give you all the support you need now and in later years.
What’s special about Lever Gardens is that you can have all the privacy you want, but with a care package put into place following a care assessment and that suits your care needs. So whether you need a few hours’ assistance each week or daily support, we’ll create a plan with you that’s individual to you. You can be sure of a professional service from a team of qualified, experienced people.

Beautiful homes
Each apartment comes with a modern kitchen, fitted bathroom, spacious living area, one or two bedrooms and either a balcony or terrace. For added peace of mind, each home is fitted with an emergency alarm system, triggered by a pendant or pull cord. This means you can call for help in an emergency, 24 hours a day. It’s good to know that if you suddenly become ill or have a fall, someone will be on call to help.
On-site, there’s a residents’ lounge, bistro-cafe, scooter room and landscaped gardens. If you enjoy social activities, you can get involved in coffee mornings, bingo and other organised events.
Weekly rent and service charges for the apartments will range from around £308-£320 a week (collected over a 48 week period and subject to finalising costs).
The development also includes six two-bedroom bungalows for rent. These homes come without the extra care package but residents can choose to subscribe to our 24-hour Careline support service.
What’s around
The development is situated on Dearden Street in Little Lever, just three miles from Bolton centre. It’s a two-minute walk to the number 524 bus stop, which will get you into the town centre in 15 minutes.
A Tesco supermarket, church, café, post office, GP surgery, chemist, dentist, fish and chip shop and a pub serving traditional food are all just a few minutes’ walk away.
