Protect yourself and others: watch our short video on gas safety (3 mins)
How quickly would you be able to spot the signs of a faulty gas appliance in your home?
And did you know that we’ll still need to carry out a gas inspection even if you’ve a gas supply meter but no gas appliances..?
In this short animation (3 mins), we’ll talk you through some quick but important things you should know with regards to gas safety in your home - such as:
- gas safety inspections and things we’ll check,
- signs of faulty gas appliances in your home (and what to do),
- what we’ll do if an appliance fails a safety test,
- and more.
Remember, if you suspect there’s a gas leak in your home, you should turn off all gas appliances, evacuate your property, and call the National Grid immediately on 0800 111 999.
