Remembering Olwyn
We were deeply saddened by the recent passing of our longstanding customer volunteer and tenant, Olwyn Cunliffe. Olwyn was a remarkable tenant champion for many years and a passionate advocate for her local community.
A tenant since 2010, Olwyn served as a Bolton at Home Board Member from 2012 to 2014. She continued to make a difference through roles on our Customer Committee and then our Customer Scrutiny Panel, until December last year.
All the while, she served her neighbourhood as a volunteer with Maltby Tenants & Residents Association, created to enrich the lives of those living on the Maltby estate.
Olwyn was key in securing funding, organising memorable trips and events, and representing her community.
We would like to pay tribute to Olwyn and her dedication to Bolton at Home. She was driven by her commitment to making improvements for tenants and her desire for strong communities that look out for each other. We will miss her dearly.
