Video: John talks about how we'll tackle reports of antisocial behaviour

No one should have to put up with antisocial behaviour, which is why we’ll always take your report seriously.

As it’s Antisocial Behaviour Awareness Week, and following a suggestion from our Group Customer Scrutiny Panel, here’s a short video from John Molloy (Head of our Neighbourhood Safety and Enforcement Service) to talk through:

  • examples of things we class as antisocial behaviour or tenancy breaches;
  • how and when you should report antisocial behaviour to us (remember that serious crimes should be reported to the Police using 999);
  • what happens after you’ve reported something to us;
  • and more.

We’d like to say a special thanks to our Group Customer Scrutiny Panel, who thought a short video to explain our Neighbourhood Safety and Enforcement Service works would be useful.

We’ll be sharing more throughout Resolve ASB's Antisocial Behaviour Awareness Week to help cut through some of the complexities of neighbourhood safety work, with refreshers on types of antisocial behaviour that we can help with, reporting procedures, and an understanding of how we address issues and can support one another.

At any time, we’d encourage you to familiarise yourself with our Antisocial Behaviour and Enforcement Policy. It’s not a bunch of rules on a page, it’s an open book on what we can do within our powers to help tackle some of the disruptions and serious concerns that might arise in neighbourhoods, with some facts that might surprise you. You can find it on our website: www.boltonathome.org.uk/tackling-asb.

Remember: if you’re experiencing any issues with antisocial behaviour, or have any concerns about how were dealing with these issues, please phone us on 01204 328000, email us at info@boltonathome.org.uk, or tap www.boltonathome.org.uk/tackling-asb for more information. Thank you.
