Sometimes applications for benefits are rejected
If your benefit claim is refused, or you feel that the decision was wrong then you can appeal against it. Most appeals should be made within one month of the date on the letter telling you the decision.
You can appeal against many decisions made by the DWP, Council or HM Revenue and Customs.
We can look at your application and advise whether you have grounds to appeal against this. If you do have grounds then we can assist you to lodge the appeal and to gather the evidence needed to support the appeal.
