What could I use the unit for?

We have units of varying sizes and uses. Potential accepted uses are: (subject to planning)

  • Newsagents
  • Off Licence
  • Grocers
  • Pharmacy
  • Takeaway
  • Hairdressers/barbers

Prohibited Uses:

  • Betting shops
  • Any form of gambling or amusement arcade
  • Any business requiring a sex establishment licence
  • Financial services (except Post Offices)

What happens when a unit becomes vacant?

When a unit becomes vacant, we actively consider all options to increase its value such as:

  • Continuing to let the unit.
  • Changing its use.
  • Redevelopment.

Leases are let on a term of 6 years with a 3 year rent review

Leaseholders are responsible for most repairs, landlord is responsible for repairs to the structure or communal areas.
